Lincoln City Confirm the Signing of Akeem Hinds and TJ Eyoma
Lincoln manager Michael Appleton has been looking for defensive cover since the injury of Michael Bostwick.
Hinds has joined as a short-term option, signing only until the end of the season. The 20-year-old joins from fellow League One side Rotherham United.
During his time at the New York Stadium, he made just four appearances, all of which came in cup competitions. Instead, he spent much of his time out on loan, enduring spells with Frickley Athletic, Hyde United and Bradford Park Avenue.
Meanwhile, Eyoma arrives at the club from Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old’s move to the LNER Stadium is his first away from Tottenham. Eyoma has worked his way up through the club’s academy sides, and so far this season he has made 14 appearances for Spurs’ U23s.
Eyoma has made one senior appearance for his parent club, featuring in the FA Cup against Tranmere Rovers.
Upon joining the Imps, Eyoma spoke to the official Lincoln City website. He said: “I’m delighted to have joined Lincoln and I am looking forward to getting started.
“The club like to play young players and I like the style they play. The manager seems like someone who will get the best out of me.”
Both Hinds and Eyoma will be available for Lincoln’s next game away to Southend United. It is a game that Michael Appleton will be hoping his side can win, having suffered back-to-back defeats in their last two League One games.
