What the Deal Means to Leyton Orient
As a part of the sponsorship deal, the club’s home shirt shall bear a Thank You message for all the doctors and medical staff in England, who are leading from the front in this global pandemic. The away shirt and third kit shall bear tributes to Haven House’ Children Hospice and Mind (the mental health charity) respectively.
A portion of proceeds from shirt sales shall go to these aforementioned charities. Also, the members of these charitable institutions shall also get to enjoy Orient in action at the Breyer Group Stadium.
Leyton Orient Chief Executive Danny Macklin has said that the club was in talks with Kane over making this sponsorship deal more than just a financial deal. The stakeholders wanted it to be unique and pay a tribute to the frontline heroes who are keeping the world alive during this global pandemic.
With the help of Harry Kane, the League Two club can give back to the society by contributing to the cause indirectly.
